The Rooster will be landing on July 7th. Our dear friend Laurie Kraynick will be fostering him until the 9th when our regular hauler will bring him South to us.
I performed a TCI on Fuzzys Derby this afternoon to Bouncing Bucky the procedure went off without a hitch and went very smoothly.
We had Stephen Morgan visiting from Galway Ireland today. We had a great time touring the farm and chatting. Martin Roper was present as well. Stephen was enamoured with Ozzie The Man and had his picture taken with the Rural Rube Award and Ozzie. A great souvenier to take back to Ireland!!!! We spoke of Group Rooster and he couldn't say enough good things. I am sure we will be meeting again both here and in Ireland.

Yes....it is true! Group Rooster* is now part of our stud line up! We had been watching this dog his entire career. We knew he belonged in America for stud duties and now it is a reality. This is a very important dog and he will cross with anything American. His damline is the stuff legends are made of. With that dose of coursing blood running through his veins you know he will throw a most genuine pup on the track. He was as hard of a tryer as they come. We have offered the first breeding up for the charity auction to benefit the NGA's Legal Fund. You do not have to be a member of Global Greyhounds to participate!
Hometown Boy, Fine Silver, Maryville Rumble and Swahili Eile are all offered as well. I would like to see their advertised stud fee bid to raise as much as we can for our sport!
We have a vistor from Ireland coming on Sunday and will post pics of our visit. Steven Morgan will be here to meet Ozzie The Man this weekend. He is a huge fan and cannot wait to meet the champ in person!
We have plenty of semen frozen on Hometown Boy now if you are wanting to breed to him please let me know and I will expedite the semen. Currently EZ Greyhound Farm carries it. I will be sending a tank to Dr. Law next.
Don't forget the auction this weekend....it starts in 1.5 hours and will end Sunday evening...there are tons of goodies on it besides stud services!!! Bid high and bid often!

Pictured is a wee Maryville Rumble* male out of Dolly Madison (Molotov x Solar Bear). Word is there is a monster headed to Southland!!! Keep your eyes peeled for B's Big Deal to school. The littermates are named similar....B's Deal Or No Deal, B's Done Deal etc. The word is this litter is HOT! I am hearing this pup B's Big Deal is the fastest pup the Robans have ever schooled. And that included Talentedmrripley, Cayman Went and Red Dirt Road. She is headed to Southland so watch for her and her littermates!
Swahili Eile* continues to be patronised at a fast clip. I think he will make a huge impact on the stud scene here in the US. He is bred to the nines and appears to be throwing himself which is the perfect blend of blazing early with plenty of gas left in the tank to blaze home.
Both Wheelie Cool and JT's Petey Girl's pups are growing like weeds. Both are being fantastic mums and we couldn't be more pleased with the pups.
Our Trans Cervical Insemination Lab IS up and running. We are only offering TCI with fresh or chilled semen for the immediate future until I become proficient enough with the cytoscope to use frozen semen. I already have a flood of bitches in for TCI so I expect my learning curve will be very short. We are doing radioimmunassay (RIA) for progesterone assays....this is the gold standard in the industry and highly accurate. Our equipment is the "latest and greatest" in technology and should mimimize the event of a miss.
Our condolences to our webmaster Brian who lost his pup, raised here, "Stanley" to cancer. He was off on his shoulder and they spotted a lump. It turned out to be osteosarcoma. He will be missed.

Pictured are the 1.5 week old Maryville Rumble* x JT's Petey Girl litter. There are 9 pups total. They are growing like weeds and Petey is a very good first time mum.
Swahili Eile breedings are skyrocketing. We could not be more pleased with his activity in the stud barn. Right now he appears to be throwing himself.....meaning that blazing boxspeed of Roanokee but the stay inherited from his mum, Making Merry. Duchy and Blade are extremely impressive youngsters at this stage. Pictured is Duchess Of Eile a Jan. 2008 female out of To Shy To Say. She is co-owned by Doug Allen and myself.
A reminder that the Global Greyhounds on-line auction to benefit the NGA's Legislative Fund is next weekend. We have offered stud services to Maryville Rumble, Swahili Eile and Fine Silver. If you are thinking of breeding to any of these boys please bid on a stud service that will benefit the NGA.

Chris is having problems getting the replays from Tri-State we have a few new wins to post and Chris will get them up as soon as everything is sorted with Track-Data.
Swahili Eile* was just bred to Simone this past week for Donny and Joy Burke....we wish them much success with their up coming litter of Eile babies.
Martin Roper will be out this week to assist on building the new long runs. We have been so busy putting the new lab together we haven't had any time to put in posts. We hope with Martin's help we will get a ton of building done this week.
Our own Doug Allen is back from his missionary work in a third world country. Doug was there to help build a new church. It is good to have Doug back here safe. He will be out Thursday as well to help design the new puppy houses for the long runs!

JT's Petey Girl (pictured) gave birth to nine Maryville Rumble* puppies yesterday. Wheelie Cool had ten. And reports from the Cahill and O'Connor Kennel is that they also had ten born yesterday! That is a lot of little Rumbles! This is Petey's first litter. Her mom, Miz Joy Lynne, was not only a great racer but also a great producer for me. She lived out her days in retirement in my house until her death. This whelp was very special to me and I must admit I cried like a baby when Petey produced her first beautiful pup. A brindle female with a white collar of fur around her neck. Joy Lynne will now live on through her grandbabies!
Now we look forward to the whelps of KB's Curly Q (Howe), DC Brenda Lee (Curry/Block) and Greys Tarmac (D'Arcy). The sires in order are Deco Deano, Fine Silver* and Maryville Rumble.
A new Rumble pup just hit the "backside" with outstanding results! Randy Finegan's Wanna Rumble won it's first 3/8ths start on the tough Derby Lane oval! Congrats to Randy!
Linda Russi will be here in the coming weeks to spend some time with her pup, Lacey, (Fine Silver* x Jr's Prelude) and learn how the farm operates. She should be able to also witness Curly Q's whelp!
I am off to go check on the oodles of newborns! All seem to be doing well. Wheelie Cool is a veteran and Petey seems to have embraced motherhood.

Pictured courtesy of Chris Greib is Hanks Cody. "Cowboy" was bred, born and raised here and finished third in last night's JGR Puppy Stake final at Orange Park. Hanks Cody along with the winner, Take It Over, are owned by our dear friend, Henry Howe. CONGRATS HENRY! There isn't a more deserving owner than Henry!
Wheelie Cool is whelping her litter of Maryville Rumble* pups right now. She has 9 so far but I still think there may be a couple more. She was absolutely enormous. Both mom and pups are doing well.
Jt's Petey Girl is due with her first litter in 48 hours. She is suffering from swollen legs and is also enormous. Her mother's legs always swelled too. This will be a Rumble litter too.
This past week Greys Tarmac was bred here to Rumble for the D'Arcy kennel.
The Endoscopy Lab is almost complete. We will be up and running very shortly!!!
Please take a look at Chris' Cache.....most of our Sire movies are now on YouTube and viewable on Chris' Cache.
Our site will be taking on a new look in the coming weeks. Webmaster Brian is working on some new things I think you will like.
We will do updates as the new litters arrive!

I had a wonderful surprise in a phone call today from Fine Silver's trainer, Anthony Rooney in Ireland. He was calling to check up on Silver and was so pleased with all of the breedings that Silver is receiving! If anyone believes in this dog more than me it is definately Anthony!
Pups, pups and more pups....Wheelie Cool is due on Friday with her litter of Maryville Rumble* pups. A more pregnant female I have never seen! She is absolutely enormous! Jt's Petey Girl is also due with her litter of Rumble's on Tuesday. We have a months break after that!
Our dear friend Linda Russi is flying in for a visit to the farm - we can't wait to see her and show her around!
The endoscope equipment is here!!!! The Storz Rep. is planning on coming out the end of next week to set it all up. We should be up and running very quickly!
Construction on the new paddocks is about to commence. We have been buying all the materials we need and will make another trip for fencing materials tomorrow. These new runs will house the oldest pups on the farm.
And in saving the best for last.....two of the pups that were bred, born and raised here have made the final of the puppy stake at Orange Park. We wish owner Henry Howe, the safest of racing and the best of luck. Henry owns three of the finalists including top point getter Take It Over. All race for the B&J Kennel. Final is Friday night...we wish we could be present but with pups due....oh well.
