I am getting ready to leave for the UK and Jade Alleway's kennels. We will go racing on Thursday at Monmore and then head over to Ireland. In just this afternoon our itinerary has been filled! We will be visiting Michael Dunphy and the Droopys Stud, Blackcastle Kennels (home of the "Group"
dogs), attending the Popgun International at Thurles, then onto Newpark Stud for a tour and feast, over to Clonmel for racing then three days of coursing! I have tons of mobile numbers to call and people to meet up with. I will post pics in a scrapbook version when I return. I can be reached through the email on this site if you have a question about stud dogs or want to book a female. Or you can call Brett on 704-305-2099 and he can assist you in my absence.

I will update this blog in 2 weeks!

Pictured is Group Singer*, full sister to stud dog, Group Rooster*. Singer arrived on the farm safely and we are working her back into fitness and she will hopefully be contesting the Derby Lane oval in the months to come. I galloped her hard today and she looked good and came out totally sound and full of herself. When I return from Ireland I will put her around the whirly gig in preparation for sending her to run an aldritt lure.

The Westmead Hawk pups arrived as well and are owned by the Arno Family. They are two of the black pups in the picture. They are beeing raised with two Hondo Black pups of the same age so it will be exciting to watch what these imported pups do over here on the track!

I am making final preparations for my trip to the UK/Ireland. We cannot accept any brood females that came in season between January 14-24.

Here are the four Group Rooster* pups out of Jr's Prelude getting big! We just moved them out into the "big" pens today. They are exceptional pups for their age.
The first litters of Swahili Eile* pups are in training and word from Roger Knauff who has two litters in training out in Keota, OK is that they are chasing well. "Blade" aka Sword Of Eile just arrived at Joey Lingle's farm last night so no word yet on him. Bob Rosko's pups are training with William Hays and are National Meet hopefuls. So this all sounds extremely positive. I will keep you updated on word from the finishers.

Pictured is my friend, Kerry, holding "Popeye" owned by the Arno family. He is a Group Rooster* ex Jr's Prelude. Kerry was there to pick up Prelude as we have retired her.

Zam Turbo Blitz whelped her litter of Deco Deano pups on the 15th. All are huge, healthy pups.

Next up....Greys Nordic Ice with Fine Silver* pups. She is due mid February and followed in close procession by Brenda Lee, Cool Cat* Oooga Chockah and Honest Emigrant*. February is going to be extremely busy for us! Needless to say.

BB's Quick Deal has now reeled off another AA win at Southland for the Bussmann/Balakas Kennel and trainer, Jerry Cruce. This 2007 daughter of Maryville Rumble* has been very impressive lately.

Here is a pic of me in the new runs that were recently constructed. The pups in this pic are leaving for Joey Lingle's training facility on Wednesday.

I will have phone access in Ireland. It is my regular number. Please try sending me an email/text before calling as the phone rates are very high. Text messages are a wee $0.02 a piece. So if you are in Clonmel and looking for me....try sending a text from your mobile first. If you are on BlackBerry and would like to add me to be able to message on their network send me an invite from your BlackBerry. I can also be reached via the Shimba Lodge in Cashel from the 31st - 5th.

Don't forget Sunday/Wednesday night chat! See you there!!!

Whoooosh......Lee Elvis strikes again by double digits! This is Maryville Rumble's new super pup at Palm Beach. Since breaking in this pup has been a monster. Here he is in his lastest romp to the wire!

Oneco Mais Oui finally had her babies, although not quite the way we wanted. She ended up having a c-section due to three large pups. Mom and babies are fine although Mais Oui's breeding days are over as soon as they started. She had to be spayed as her uterus was too badly damaged.

Zam Turbo Blitz (full sister to Ebony River) is due with a bellyfull of Deco Deano pups on Tuesday. This looks to be a large litter!

Our broods that are currently bred and due in February are :

Greys Nordic Ice - Fine Silver*

DC Brenda Lee (littersister to Bouncing Bucky/Trent Lee) - Fine Silver*

Cool Cat* - Group Rooster*

Oooga Chockah - Farloe Black*

Honest Emigrant*- Flying Hydrogen

Off to train this month are:

8 Flying Hydrogens owned by Henry Howe

1 Dodgem By Design owned by Henry Howe

1 Swahili Eile owned by Kristin Block or Doug Allen

Don't forget International Chat Sundays and Wednesday evenings at 5pm EST. 10PM over in Ireland! Hope to see you there!

Also do not forget if your brood bitch breaks season between Jan. 14-24 I will not be able to breed her as I will be out of the country from Jan 28th - Feb. 6th. Dr. Barber will be available to do implants in my place with I am gone!

We just welcomed a new litter into the world in the wee hours of the morning. They are by Swahili Eile* ex Dance Of Dreams. Dance Of Dreams is a littersister to the recently exported stud dog, Kinloch Brae who is now standing with FFK in Ireland. Congratulations to owner Henry Howe on this beautiful litter!

Oneco Mais Oui (Gable Dodge ex Oneco Inquizitiv) is due with Maryville Rumble* pups tomorrow. This will be her first litter and they are similarly bred to the litter of Cool Princess see /http://www.greyhound-data.com/d?i=1298283. As you can see the same theory was used in this mating as the one that created Cool Princess. These will hopefully be a litter of flyers. We will be offering this litter for sale at earmark.

Many thanks to all the people who have inquired about the upcoming litter of Farloe Black* pups out of the great Oooga Chockah. If you want to reserve a pup I can add you to the list. I will retain 3 of the pups here the rest will be offered for sale and can be moved at earmark or boarded on here.

Check out this replay from last night on one of Maryville Rumble's* hottest young pups. Lee Elvis is in the 8 hole and wins in a sub 30 sec. time.

Please check out my breeding articles that are featured on the Greyhound Nuts Board. NO BULL is an on-line greyhound newspaper based in the UK/Ireland. I will be writing about many breeding topics in the coming months. Here is a link to the articles. http://forums.greyhoundnuts.com/index.php?topic=2897.0 The link for the Greyhound Nuts is featured on our Link tab on our website.

Group Singer and two wee Westmead Hawk pups will be arriving Stateside in a couple weeks. Congrats to Jon Arno and family on their new little "Hawk" pups. They will be raised here and finished by top trainer, Ferrell Pearson.

Lastly, we will be hosting an international chat every Wednesday and Sunday night beginning at 5pm EST (10pm in Ireland). Tonight will be the very first chat! We hope to visit with many of you on there tonight! Pedigree expert, Martin Roper will be present to answer questions as well! I hope to have featured guests in chat on different nights. If anyone has a suggestion as to who they would like to see as a guest please send us an email!

Cheers!
