Farloe Black* is here! He arrived last night. He is a monsterous solid black dog. He is the picture of strength. His personality is wonderful. He is a happy and loving dog. No nerves about him at all. He has taken is move over to the States with a grain of salt and ate like the champion he is. Many thanks to Laurie Kraynick for picking him up in Boston and fostering him and for my kennel assistants, Chris and Jamie Stiver for picking him up from Kevin Blaske late last night!

Greys Tarmac whelped a litter of nine Maryville Rumble* pups on Monday night/Tuesday Am. We are supplementing with a bottle right now as Mackie is not producing much milk at the moment. All are holding strong.

The wee Hondo Black x Mineola Di pups were born a few days ago. Martin Roper and I each own a female. They will be exported to the US upon earmark and raced here. Many thanks to Paul McCucker of the Drumscraw Kennels for allowing us to purchase these two females! Pictured (blue pup) is my Drumscraw Di. "Little Di" as she will be called.
Group Rooster* is being bred and bred and bred! I want to say I am surprised...but actually I am not. The only disappointment is none of our broods are in season!
Bar The Devil ( our future sire) finished 2nd in his Derby heat behind Express Ego. The Devil was closing fast after a bit of bumping he came flying home. Now on to the 2nd round!
Maryville Rumble pups are winning everywhere this week! And many in 3/8ths! So much for that "Imports only thow early foot and short" myth! I think the difference is with the advent of Greyhound-data and the fact that replays from the Irish tracks are now readily available it has enabled us to pick and choose the "right" type of dog for stud services in the US. It is no big secret that the imports, headed by Maryville Rumble are producing winning dogs.
Many thanks to all of you who have called and booked to our dogs this past week! We wish you continued success with your breeding programs.
