Danica Driver (5) has been officially retired and is enroute back to the farm and will join the rest of the broods here. She was injured earlier in this year and her last race she came off the track limping. She had a bit of larceny but was as fast as she cared to be. She will be bred to Hometown Boy when she comes in season. A lot of the elements in that mating are what made Ozzie The Man. She was a nice 68 pound bitch, racing weight so she will throw some size.
Prelude's Group Rooster* pups turned 2 weeks today. They weigh in at a whopping 5 pounds! They are so big and fat!
We wish Randy Finegant he best of luck tonight with Irish Angel in the Ebro Derby. Angel is a Maryville Rumble* pup. Her sister, Cynthia Smoot will be an entry in the Derby Lane distance stakes that are forthcoming.
Word from our exporter is that he has Drumscraw Di ( Little Di) and Secret Whispers (Kiera) in hand and they will be exported from Ireland to Boston tomorrow. Laurie Krayick will foster them. My good friend, Ron, from Country Roads Kennel will retrieve them in WV off Blaske's hauler and bring them to the farm sometime next week. Their pedigrees are second to none and we expect great things from these girls! They are Hondo Black ex Mineola Di. I will post pics as soon as I have them in hand.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. My big shopping excursion was to go buy an iPod dock for the lab today.
Go IRISH ANGEL!!!!!!
